Family Resources and Activities

Swim lessons for ages 8 months and up are available through Burns Recreation Center’s Learn to Swim Program year-round. Visit LMU Campus Recreation for age-specific sign-up links.
Free and discounted LMU Athletics tickets are available to faculty and staff. LMU employees can purchase discounted tickets to men's basketball home games – season ticket packages are available for up to 40% off, and limited quantities remain. Admission is free with an active OneCard to the following ticketed LMU home athletic events:
  • Baseball
  • Women's Basketball
  • Soccer
  • Indoor volleyball
Employees can bring one (1) guest for free. LMU Faculty/Staff guests do not need to be a current LMU faculty or staff member but must be accompanied by an active LMU employee. Additionally, admission is free for all to the following LMU home athletic events: Swimming, Beach Volleyball, Softball, Tennis, Water Polo. LMU Athletics hosts a variety of sports camps and clinics for kids. Extended care is available before and after camps for an additional fee.
LMU Athletics hosts children’s (12 years and under) birthday parties at Lions Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, and Volleyball games and matches. Visit LMU Lions Birthdays for pricing and other information.

There are also many summer camps located throughout the Westchester and surrounding communities that LMU families and children can enjoy.
